Summer Fun on the Farm!
Summer fun on the farm!
The final school bell has rung and it’s finally summer vacation! Kids everywhere anticipate the next two months of freedom while parents think about ways to keep them busy.
When the kids scream “I’m bored!” pack them up and head for Springridge Farm. Spend a day in the sun playing in the fun farm yard. Kids will love jumping, climbing and sliding on the Spiderweb Climber, Straw Play and Tube Slides before making the trek up to the Escarpment Lookout. Spend some time visiting with our farm animals and see if you can spot the goats climbing up “goat mountain” before heading over to the Singing Chicken Show to learn a few new jokes.
When you need to re-fuel, our café offers a menu of delicious sandwiches and kids (and parents) will appreciate the sand pail lunch that comes with a sandwich, carrot sticks, drink and cookie. Once lunch is done bring your new sand pail and shovel back to the fun farm and spend some time in the giant sandbox.
Be sure to leave time for the Fun Farm Yard tractor drawn wagon ride. Enjoy the scenic escarpment views and learn more about our crops, the farm and the land around us.
If you plan on visiting often consider converting your daily admission* into a season pass. It’s a great value and you receive free admission to the first weekend of Harvest Festival September 22 or September 23.
Before you head off, head to the barn market to pick up local seasonal produce and maybe a tart (or two) for the ride home.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the farm!
*daily admission can be used toward the purchase of a season pass on the day of purchase only.
